"So, what are you going to work on?"
The path that led me to decide for Anthropology wasn't free of problems and discussions. "Why do not you study for a lawyer?", phrases and looks from my family that tried to stop the inevitable. Not Laws, Periodism or another classical carrer in humanist area, which pays me more than if I study in the others underrated carrers, like social work o anthropology. They couldn't believe it.
My dream job when I was a child were always in change, sometimes I dreamed of being veterinary or cientist, or even like a Colo-Colo's player.
So, that dream job evolved in a sentiment to comprend the people and their realities, a preocupation for the Silenced and Invisibilizated, to look them and look at me, and after describe this and learn something.
I think I always had problems to focus my tastes in a profession, but this kind of interest moved me to study Anthropology, and not Licenciature in Hispanic Language or in Philosophy, which were my others option in the postulation to university.
This first months makes me feel happy and comfortable with my new friends. But a little confused and dissapointed about the state of the carrer, all the process of Innovation is too chaotic. The most difficult part has been the new asignatures and methodologies, with many text and essays, it's really hard being keep up in all of them. But for some reason I like this.
I would like to have a job where I can feel comfortably and coherent with my believes, in which I can find me, and keep growing and learning.
